A glimpse of what we do.

We work with a variety of clients with a wide range of photography needs, from traditional portraits to candid event photography and much more in between. Some of our most common work includes school sports/activities, dance, seniors, families, pets, business, and children/newborns.

Our history and involvement within our community awards us the unique opportunity to photograph moments throughout so many individual’s and family’s lives. We love that we are able to capture someone’s first weeks as a newborn, milestones as they grow, school activities as they explore their interests, senior year as they transition to their next chapter, professional headshots as they start a career, and more throughout their years of adulthood and starting families of their own.

Our hiring process

1

Apply

Find our open positions on LinkedIn and submit your application with a resume, or email Val@ReadPhotography.com with your resume and the position you are applying for. From that point, we’ll review your qualifications (and portfolio, if you have one) and get in touch if you’re a good fit for the job.

2

Let’s talk

If we reach out to you after reviewing your application, we’ll invite you to come to our studio for an interview. We’ll talk about your skills, qualifications, goals, and how we would be a good fit for each other. We’ll also answer any questions you might have about the position. Some creative positions will require a a short skills test using the software and equipment relevant to the position you applied for. We use that test to gauge where you are with a specific set of skills required for the job, and to give you an introduction to what kind of work you would be doing with us.

3

Next Steps

We’ll reach out to you after your interview to talk about what your next steps will be. If all goes according to plan, we’ll give you a start date to come in and get acquainted with the team, studio, and position! At that point, we’ll start your training process as you integrate with the team.
